Rectangular Magnetic Chucks - Fine Pole Standard range chucks are designed to give high performance combined with competitive pricing. Using high energy rare earth neodymium magnets they give an evenly distributed clamping force. Trouble-free operation is assured with a rugged but accurate build. Each standard magnetic chuck features: brass and steel top plates, removable hexagon key handles that ensure ease of operation through a 180° arc (replacement handles are available on request). All chucks are supplied with side and end stops. All chucks are supplied with clamps and a one year warranty on parts and labour.
Rectangular Magnetic Chucks - Fine Pole Ideal for thin - medium grinding operations. Pole spacing = 1.5mm steel/0.5mm brass. Force = 80N/cm2. They will usually clamp all workpiece thicknesses less than 3mm.
The Rectangular Universal Magnetic Chuck virtually removes the need for 2 types of chucks by ensuring maximum effective holding on a wide range of materials thicknesses, shapes and sizes. The universal pattern pole pitch (1 mm brass, 3 mm steel) provides secure clamping for small or thin items as well as thicker or larger pieces. The range offers a highly efficient alternative to manual clamps and mechanical fixtures.
Powered by high-strength Neodymium magnets, the Universal chuck generates up to 80 N/cm² clamping force (subject to application). It also features an all-metal top plate which concentrates magnetic energy into the chuck face. Accurate positioning is made simple by a facility to partially magnetise the top plate to enable fine adjustments to the position of the workpiece.
