These stones were packed away for long term storage in the 1960's.  The stones are double sided and were considered to be the best and most useful of the Carborundum brand Razor hones. One side of the stone is silicon carbide (grey side) and the other is aloxite ( aluminum oxide - light tan) . The aloxite is the finer side and should be used for final honing \/ sharpening. The stones measure 3-7\/8\" x 2\" x 5\/8\".
